CONTRIBUTORS TIPS

Unsolicited materials are welcome and must be submitted by e-mail.

Photos should be in the 200-600 dpi definition range in the .jpg or .png format. If this is not possible, a bright sharp paper print will be acceptable. Prints will not be returned unless you include a properly sized and stiffened self-addressed stamped envelope. Drawings and such should arrive in .gif format. Original drawings, not over 8x10 inches, will be returned according to the above.

All such materials are accepted with the understanding that, in submitting the material, you are granting us first Internet publication rights. All other rights remain with you, the creator. All queries and requests we receive about reprinting or otherwise using your work will be referred to you.

Absolutely no material will be accepted from Mr., Mrs., or Ms. Anonymous. Full disclosure of your name, street address, home and/or work phone number must be included with the submitted material. We will not publish your home address of phone number without your permission.

Photos must be accompanied with a statement that you took the picture or otherwise have the right to submit it to us. Each photo submission must include the date and location of the pictured image PLUS the full name(s) of each identifiable person in it along with a statement from each such person that you have permission to submit that picture for publication here. Minors MUST have a statement from parent or guardian to the same effect.

That's a lot of stuff, but necessary in this litigious age. You might want to avoid the hassle by simply not including any identifiable people in your photos. That's what I'd do.

As to payment, we offer the exact same level of payment as the Editor/Owner of this web site gets; namely zip.
