Horace Hellbender was hard at work teaching the citizenry the meaning of the word when, last summer  he took up sailplaning and touched down on the top of the CMPCo's  towers which span the little league ball field on the north end of the island. The high tension wires thereon carry hundreds of thousands of watts of native electricity across the river from one side to the other.  Suddenly Howard vanished in a purple flash that lit up the Kennebec River valley from Sidney to Dresden.  We'll get back to this page  as soon as someone comes forward to complete Horace's work.
